Digital Manufacturing
Milling and printing now lie at the heart of Zip Dental Lab in our custom manufacturing centre.
CAM or 3D printed metal is cleaner and less waste, better for the patient and of course, always reproducible at the click of a button should the worst happen or we need a spare. -
CAD/CAM Milling
In-lab CAD/CAM milling allows us to produce the highest quality restorations with the quickest turnaround times.
The digital interface also means we can quickly spot any potential issues and fix them ahead of time, greatly reducing the need for revisions.
Fracture and failures are our biggest fear at ZDL, which is why we only use materials of the highest standard and from ethical companies. -
3D Printing Systems
3D printing is the logical extension to 3D scanning and allows finer detail than milling, which is limited by the size of the milling tool.
With increasing material choices, 3D printing offers almost endless possibilities. Models, special trays, soft tissues, splints, guides, verification jigs and soon even full dentures can all be printed using 3D printers in our lab. -
3D Design Service
Solid models can be designed on all platforms and sent to us as an .stl file.
Models with removable dies or implant models must be designed on 3Shape and using the.stl files to ensure we can print your soft tissue. It is also essential that the scan body type and implant type are sent with the case to avoid delays.

What are the payment option you have available?
Payment terms for all our new customers are on advance basis . A Proforma Invoice is sent for the orders received in the lab. The payment options you have available are via T/T, Bank wire transfer, Western Union, MoneyGram and Paypal . We will provide the bank details for payment processing along with the proforma invoice.

Can you ship some sample work for my reference?
Yes, we can provide some free samples. It will be charged in advance and we will refund the fee of samples when we start cooperation .

Is it mandatory to send physical models/Impressions?
Physical models/Impression are not mandatory if you send us the STL/digital files.

Can I send digital files/ STL files?
We do accept intra-oral scan files and model scan files ready for design and mill from most systems used worldwide. We do print 3D Models of STL file to complete restoration process with ceramic work. Work is completed with CAD/CAM technology for all fixed restorations crowns & bridge work.

Which shipment service do you recommend?
We do not have any specific preferences however as experienced, DHL delivers packages in 2-3 business days which is faster compared to Fedex & UPS.

What is the turnaround time for product delivery?
Physical impression work, once received, is completed and returned in 7-8 business day, which includes a lab turnaround time of 3 days. Shipping is arranged through DHL. A digital/STL file work, can be delivered faster in less than a week’s time.

How can I ship the patient’s cases/impressions/models?
You can send your cases / impressions / models through Fedex, UPS or DHL services to our lab. You can also avail of discounts by using our corporate account with DHL.
